Moore's Landscaping supplies native plant materials, including dormant willow cuttings, aquatic plants, trees, shrubs, wildflowers and custom seed mixes. We have temperature and humidity-controlled, mobile, storage units which enable us to supply the highest quality of plant materials, when and where they are needed.
Moore's Landscaping is Alaska's, exclusive distributor to RoLanka coir (coconut fiber) products. All materials are stocked and stored in our Kenai warehouse. These natural, biodegradable, erosion-control products provide the initial stability needed to restore vegetation.
Special techniques, along with biodegradable products, are applied during each project, according to the unique needs of each particular situation. RoLanka offer a variety of natural, biodegradable, strong and durable coir products that will successfully control erosion and sedimentation. Shown here is a BioD-Roll, one of the coir wetland management products. They provide initial structural stability by resisting wave action and flow velocity. They also provide an excellent medium for plant growth. Other products include BioD-Mat which are woven from machine-spun bristle coir twines. Upon biodegradation, these products will have provided for a well developed root structure which can successfully hold soil in place.
